Born in Vienna, raised in Switzerland and Hong Kong, creativity was a part of my identity from early childhood days. However, it wasn't until several years later that I was able to fully dedicate myself to my love of sketching and drawing.

Initially formative years were spent in London, Florence and Vienna in the fields of fashion design, photography and graphic design before becoming a graphic designer professionally in Vienna. After the birth of my second child in 2015, I finally rediscovered my first passion. Since then I am a freelance artist and illustrator. I work and live together with my husband and my 3 children in Vienna.

I love details, clarity and precision. Some may say I am a perfectionist but to me it is means to an end to establish harmony and equilibrium, which with the expansion of my family became vital but also much harder to sustain. A battle that seems to rule my artist day to day life, that challenges me on a regular basis, exasperates me but at the same time forces me to rise beyond myself and give my best. "Persistence is key. In EVERYTHING. No resilience, no triumph."

I try my best to live by this principle every day. I believe that talent is a gift and the recipient of something so special should handle it with care and try to make the best out of what he/she has been given. My fascination for animals, the main protagonists of my work, isn`t too surprising. The alleged chaos of the lines, blotches, scales and hair which collectively produce a balanced harmony: the perfection of creation.

The most beautiful moment whilst drawing is when thoughts leave what the hand has been taught and my hand finds its own rhythm and I sense I‘m on the right path. That is my motor. Trust, discipline and humor are the main ingredients for success.
